Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative Product Marketer to join us in our mission to help modernize healthcare communication. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape our go-to-market strategy for key customer segments and products, tell a story with our product, build messaging and programs that generate demand, and accelerate revenue.


  • Develop and manage product positioning, value propositions, and key external messaging to be used in marketing programs and across sales and customer success.
  • Generate new audience-specific positioning and messaging for different customer segments and channels.
  • Champion the voice of current and future customers to understand how their needs and desires inform product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and collateral.
  • Create and manage a style guide around product messaging for different internal teams.
  • Identify new product needs based on customer research, package those insights, and promote them in a way that drives customer adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Spruce’s customer-facing knowledge base. Ensure proper organization, optimize copy for findability, and promote articles/blogs.
  • Create pitch decks, 1-pagers, white papers, and other marketing materials to ensure our sales team is equipped with the tools they need to sell effectively.
  • Lead and own the development and execution of go-to-market strategies around new features and experiences.
  • Collaborate with our Product team on our vision and roadmap to stay ahead of the competition and satisfy customer demand.
  • Contribute to competitor analysis, market research, and other research initiatives to inform market positioning.

About You

  • Exposure to marketing and sales processes in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience with launch planning, storytelling, positioning/messaging throughout customer lifecycle, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Creative ability to use messaging/positioning to tell a story.
  • Superb written, verbal, and visual communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven experience crafting sales collateral/presentations.
  • Ability to tactically execute your strategic vision.
  • Experience working at a fast-paced and changing startup environment.
  • MBA strong plus.
