As Product Marketers, the nature of our role can be hard to define. We have many superpowers, which can make us reactive, unfocused and unsure of our true mission at the company.
At Ironclad, we have a different approach. We use our broad skillset to proactively solve the most pressing problems for the business. As market experts, we drive sales enablement strategy, contribute to roadmap plans, and devise the strategic GTM plays that take our company to the next level. You will have an opportunity to proactively define and lead how our company scales.
We are building the first digital contracting platform capable of solving the problem of painful, slow, and risky contracts, and our mission is to bring our solution to market. We are looking for product marketers who are excited by this challenge.
We are open to hiring in our San Francisco, New York, Indianapolis and Remote hubs.
What you'll be doing:
Align with Sales and Product leadership on high-priority content and programs
Develop high-leverage Field assets and revenue-generating plays
Research to formulate GTM strategy (e.g., interviewing customers and building personas; researching competitive demos; understanding jobs to be done), both independently and managing consultants
You’ll be a strategic advisor to Product and Sales on roadmap considerations, market considerations, and more
Find what makes you a hedgehog and build a career path at Ironclad around it
Excellent writing, with a portfolio of work product to prove it (blogs, whitepapers, one-pagers, case studies, etc.)
Strong internal collaboration and negotiation skills
Able to think big picture and prioritize what’s most important, but also able to get roll up sleeves and ship work product
Understand how to take information from data sources, both structured and unstructured, and turn them into insights, plans, and recommendations
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines with minimal oversight
Flexible and can adapt quickly when priorities change
PMM systems/teams building experience
B2B SaaS experience
Prior experience in another SaaS role (Customer Success, Sales, Business Development, etc.)
What it’s like to be a PMM at Ironclad:
Work closely with company leadership. PMM at Ironclad works closely with our stellar C-Suite that comes from the executive ranks of Salesforce, Zendesk, Palantir, Marketo, and Google.
Reporting structure. We are a Product-driven company, reporting into Product, with a dotted line to the CEO. We work alongside Growth Marketing, and partner with Sales, CS, and Product to define and drive company-wide go-to-market strategy.
No RAM (random acts of marketing). We goal ourselves against company-level priorities rather than laddering up to any one team. This enables us to be a strategic partner rather than randomized.
Drive impact. We drive the most high-impact projects at the company, including our award-winning analyst and PR program and the State of Digital Contracting quarterly product keynote.
