At Ironclad, Finance is about leveraging numbers to unlock key business insights. We are a small, yet mighty group leading company strategy & operational decision-making through data.
As a key member of the Strategic Finance team, you will be responsible for critical analysis to solve complex scaling problems that will 10x our business. You’ll focus on the highest priority business issues and gain understanding of a hyper growth SaaS business through cross-functional, analytical work. 
We're open to hiring in our SF, NY, Indianapolis and Remote hubs.

What you'll be doing

    • Function as an flexible thinker, being able to operate both at a mile-high, strategic level, and diving down to own the nitty gritty details.
    • Propose, identify, and build models & systems for in depth understanding of key go-to-market unit economic levers such as ARR, ACV, NDR, cost to serve, payback period, and others.
    • Partner cross-functionally as a trusted business advisor for emerging, new markets initiatives that require financial business modeling and an analytical lens.
    • Collaborate with internal data teams to drive enhanced financial insights, reporting, and analytics.
    • Assist with capital planning efforts, corporate finance, and investor relations.
    • Utilize Ironclad’s digital contracting platform to leverage contracting data for revenue & financial use cases
    • Flex creative muscles in applying data & numbers to tell the financial story of the company  

Key skills

    • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, VC/PE, corporate planning, financial analyst or related fields — preferably for a B2B and/or recurring SaaS business
    • Strong proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides. Strong ability to create business hypotheses, test analytically, and then connect back towards company strategy
    • Understanding technology/internet business models, both for B2B and B2C type platforms
    • Ability to quickly identify and methodically resolve potential cross functional roadblocks with a proficiency in speaking in trade-offs
    • Polished presentation skills, along with the ability to clearly communicate messages that link business issues, financial results, and strategy
