About you/Experience (We think you'll be successful if you have many of the qualifications below...)
Successful previous experience as a Director of Enterprise Sales or VP of Sales, selling into the office of the CFO or the corporate finance team with upper mid-market and enterprise customers.
Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and methods; and excellent leadership
Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
Strong working knowledge of the Accounting or Automation segment and competitive products
Accounting, Finance, Spend Management SaaS product knowledge is advantageous
Vic.ai is seeking a seasoned, experienced enterprise sales executive to join our growing company’s leadership team. In this role, you are responsible for developing and executing the enterprise sales strategies that drive revenue for the company in America, and monitoring and reporting on sales goals, adjusting tactics as needed to reach them. The VP of Sales will also work closely with other executives to drive strategic direction and resource allocation for the company.
As the VP of Sales you have 5 key responsibilities:
Advising reps on their current deals
Optimizing the sales process and tactics
To be successful as a VPS you have good leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. You have in-depth knowledge of the market and competitive products; and has excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will actively manage and have the ability to roll up their sleeves to drive sales growth. You will directly impact the growth and success of Vic.ai through helping us build the enterprise segment and our platform offering into this segment.
As the VPS, you will oversee all sales for America. Primarily you will be hands-on building out our direct Enterprise go-to-market motion, but the role also includes revenue ownership for our US Partner Solution Program, Accounting Channel and ERP partnerships.
Key areas of responsibility
Achieve annual and quarterly sales growth targets by successfully motivating and managing the sales team
Design and implement business strategies that expand Vic.ai’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market
Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of the entire sales organization, including account management, SDRs, and sales operations
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with and understanding their needs
Present realistic and achievable revenue forecasts to the management team, own sales budgets
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Closely collaborate with the marketing and customer success departments to identify the right customer bases and support them through their customer journey
Identify where improvements can be made and develop sales plans, and strategies to achieve sales goals
Create sales reports and provide feedback to the rest of the leadership team
Establish and maintain key customer relationships
