About the Role:
StyleSeat is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst with hands-on proven data analysis skills to help build StyleSeat’s analytics function from the ground up. You'll be deeply involved in driving decision-making across all aspects of the business, from exploratory analysis to better understand our customers, to building data pipelines that democratize a standard level of data across the company.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Analytics, you will work closely with Marketing and Product teams to define and answer key questions, as well as enable robust logging and data pipelines. This position will also work closely with Finance and the Executive team to help develop top-line metrics for the company.
What You’ll Do:
Identify & Execute analyses that answers the most important questions driving the operations and growth of the business in partnership with the Marketing Team
Maintain and develop our marketing reporting processes, tools, and data visualization to track daily performance and improve forecasting & modeling
Generate actionable insights which drive operational decisions and improve the efficiency of marketing spend allocation across all Marketing channels including Paid Social, Search, Email, Push, and SMS
Act as the subject matter expert for all Marketing data, reporting, and attribution for channels including Paid Social, Search, Email, Push, and SMS
Influence cross-functional teams through presentation of insight-based recommendations
Design and assist in building Marketing data infrastructure and measurement models across the organization
Design A/B tests and analyze results to inform strategic decision making & next steps in partnership
Recommend data standards and best practices to improve the quality of data and speed to insight
What You Can Bring to the Table:
3+ years of relevant experience specifically in Marketing Analytics
Experience solving ambiguous data problems
Experience translating Marketing objectives into actionable analyses
Knowledge in SQL and an ability to write complex queries
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Knowledgeable in one or more leading analytical platforms
Proficiency in data modeling best practices
Proficiency in designing / building data pipelines or using ETL tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to explain technical/marketing concepts and implications to a broad audience
An ability to work with a diverse group of collaborators
Nice to haves:
Experience with Looker
Experience in an eCommerce, B2B2C marketplace, or B2C organization
Experience at a startup or late-stage growth company
