Job Description

Client Services staff engage in onboarding for customers and partners of NuORDER. Reporting into the Director of Services, the Payments Consultant is responsible for launching clients on NuORDER Payments. Responsibilities include clarifying and evangelizing NuORDER Payment features, determining the ideal configuration for a given customer, and delivering end-to-end payment processing capabilities in support of large wholesales orders. As a Product Specialist, you will provide world-class service to our customers and help set the bar high with your expert product knowledge and understanding of payment processing best practices. Your success will derive from your knowledge, superior communication skills, customer focus, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment.
 
Please note: This position can be located anywhere in the US with a preference for LA/NYC candidates

Responsibilities

    • Serve as an expert on NuORDER Payments technology, guiding client engagements and providing input on future product roadmap
    • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to thoroughly understand and document customers’ business goals as it relates to credit card processing and facilitate the setup of NuORDER Payments to client specifications
    • Understand B2B eCommerce, wholesale retailing, and merchandising principles and have the ability to articulate how the NuORDER solution facilitates best practices
    • Analyze transactions and work with customers to identify issues related to risk, fraud, and security
    • Oversee and manage multiple customer onboarding journeys simultaneously

Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in financial and payments technology with thorough understanding of credit card industry best practices
    • Customer service background with exceptional communication skills – this is a client-facing position
    • Genuinely enjoy problem solving and logic.
    • Must love  Excel – you’ll be using it every day
    • Extremely organized self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects at once and push for aggressive deadlines
    • Able to learn new software programs quickly and intuitively.
    • BA/BS or equivalent education
