Marketing at Crunchbase
The Crunchbase Marketing team is responsible for product, corporate, and growth marketing initiatives, including lead generation and monetization, crafting outstanding content, and driving engagement with our community of users. Our Growth and Ops team drives business results at Crunchbase via web and product optimization, demand generation programs, and by improving experimentation and tech capabilities for the Marketing team in general.
The Growth Marketing Manager will lead all aspects of the main self-serve upgrade and downgrade experiences for our Crunchbase users. This role will build the roadmaps for our website and in-product prompts and collaborate with the Lifecycle and Product teams to meet revenue targets. You’ll partner with Analytics and developers to launch, monitor, and call experiments to test your way to success. Lastly, you’ll monitor and report out on the self-serve business to executives and use your findings to help set future growth targets and strategies. You’ll report directly to the Director of Growth and Marketing Ops.
What You'll Do:
Own the strategy through to execution of experimentation on in-product and web monetization surfaces for self-serve
Plan across departments with Product, Engineering, and Lifecycle to build end-to-end experiences
Monitor, report on, and investigate Crunchbase’s self-serve business metrics
Manage our web dev. resource to produce necessary changes on our marketing site
Maintain and expand our web development and testing capabilities
What We're Looking For:
5-7 years of proven experience in Growth Marketing, Growth Product Management, or a similar role
AB testing and experimentation savvy
Experience collaborating with a web developer resource to produce and maintain web pages
Experience using AB testing tools like Optimizely or similar to run your experiments
Analytical skills for monitoring, investigating, and reporting on the performance of your surfaces
SaaS and/or startup experience is a plus
