Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our open positions.
Screens, interviews, and recommends prospective employees for employment in entry-level and experienced technical positions. Also works with search firms or other placement agencies. Determines optimum recruitment method to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool.
Working as a Tech Recruiter typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
We are scaling the company and increasing the number of roles we are hiring for in 2022 and beyond. You will help us meet our hiring needs by focusing on hiring for our engineering roles with speed while providing a great candidate experience.
About you/Experience (We think you'll be successful if you have...)
2+ years of experience as a recruiter ideally at a software technology start-up
An understanding of competitive compensation for engineering roles in a fintech startup
Experience recruiting for a variety of roles at different experience levels
Expertise managing every aspect of the candidate pipeline including sourcing, screening, and closing candidates
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System such as Greenhouse is preferred
Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills; demonstrable initiative, creativity, and flexibility, good organizational skills

Key areas of responsibility
Write and post job descriptions
Source potential candidates on LinkedIn Recruiter and niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github
Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes
Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
Compose job offer letters
Onboard new hires
Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work
