Role Details
You are a leader with a proven track record of building and scaling partnerships with global marketers, leading the end-to-end revenue value chain, and actively managing sales and business development productivity.
You are a collaborative, data-driven, and inspiring leader that thrives in a performance-driven culture. You have a demonstrated and verifiable track record of revenue and sales growth, with an expert understanding of deal cadence and the ability to close large, complex partnerships with brand marketers.
You have deep knowledge of marketing, and have established relationships with key decision makers at the highest levels with the world’s leading brands.
Key Responsibilities
Create a business development strategic plan designed to bring the full suite of
Drive incremental revenue growth
Responsible for a book of business
Sales Prospecting and Hunting: Expectation to generate a high volume of incremental revenue-related activity
Seek out and qualify new brand partnership prospects with high incremental
revenue potential
Upsell current clients in current and new products and programmatic buying
capabilities
Activate and build strong relationships in key categories such as data-driven
Maintain a deep understanding of market competitors, knowledge, and trends, including evolving technologies, client needs, expectations, and opportunities, shifts in the competitive landscape, operational efficiencies, and opportunities and competitive challenges
Structure and negotiate contractual agreements designed to drive an equitable
partnership for Vic.ai and the world’s leading brand markers
Work closely with senior management and product leadership to develop the strategy and execution plans to bring real solutions to buyers
Cultivate relationships with senior marketing decision-makers to gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide solutions for their marketing and
advertising goals.
Provide feedback to the company on how to best service clients’ needs.
Identify service offering gaps and communicate back to relevant teams in order to ensure we are constantly innovating to meet the evolving needs
Establish annual Joint Business Plans and manage the quarterly/annual tracking of KPIs with the brands and communicate across internal stakeholders
Work with Account Manager and other internal teams to ensure solid proposals are successfully implemented and aligned with client expectations.
Qualifications
10+ years of sales or business development experience in tech field, or other relevant activities
Extensive background in sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex partnership agreements and contracts
A strong leader with a track record working in highly matrixed, cross-functional and fast-moving environments
Ability to influence without authority, and capable of engaging with numerous senior stakeholders as well as global clients and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to set, manage and track against a set of diverse, strategic KPIs
Extensive high-level relationships with senior media, advertising, and technology decision-makers at the world’s largest global brands
Demonstrated strategic, consultative, and analytical sales approach with a focus on building partnerships with brand marketers
Desired Characteristics
Expansive network of strategic and transactional decision-makers on the buy-side, including brand-direct relationships
Well-versed in programmatic audience strategy with future-focused people-based marketing landscape, etc.
Strong executive presence and deeply comfortable presenting to clients of all levels
Consultative, partnership-minded sales approach
Ability to lead all aspects of top-tier buyer relationships – truly ‘own’ a book of business
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong business judgment
