About Hone

Hone is on a mission to reimagine live leadership and people skills training for the modern workplace. As the first ever integrated platform for live online instructor-led manager training, Hone enables organizations with remote and distributed teams to easily source, manage and deliver best-in-class training and measure its impact, no matter where their people are located.

Job Description

About Us
Hone is reimagining leadership, management, and people skills training for modern teams. Traditional corporate classroom training is inconvenient and ineffective (70% is forgotten within a day), and pre-recorded e-learning videos are impersonal and poorly suited for interactive people skills training. As the world of work becomes ever more dynamic and distributed, this is a problem that needs solving (and a $30bn industry that needs disrupting).

Hone is the first scaled platform for live online, synchronous, instructor-led training classes for leadership, management, and soft skills. Our unique solution allows organizations to source, manage, and deliver live online video-based training at scale and measure its impact.

Why Join Us
We're a startup with experienced founders (CEO Tom Griffiths co-founded gaming unicorn FanDuel; Savina Perez built successfully acquired HR Tech companies). It's an exciting place to be, and joining at this early stage will be an incredible journey where you will have an outsized impact on our company, culture, and customers. We lean into distributed work (after all, our solution is powering remote training) so have flexible work from home (or wherever) policies. We're dedicated to building an exceptional experience for our learners, and a fun, productive environment steeped in best practices for our product development team.

    • Uploading learners and documents to our content management system
    • Placing learners into cohorts to ensure the best possible experience for our learners across multiple time zones
    • Responding to all learner requests regarding schedule changes
    • Navigating requests of client-specific preferences for scheduling
    • Examining and understanding the full customer lifecycle of customers at Hone
    • Learning all of the existing systems, routines, and cadences that drive our Customer Teams

Key Skills and Experience

    • Recent college graduate with 1-3 years of professional or internship experience
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Proficiency in all Google Suite products
    • Ability to alter direction quickly when faced with change
    • Experience with calendar management, organization, and follow-through
    • Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues
    • Forward-thinking self-starter looking to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to provide support in the daily execution of key tasks when needed
    • Customer service competency required, with good written and verbal communication skills
    • Quick-learner that can adapt to a growing business
    • Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and internal associates alike
    • Start-up experience is a plus!
