Uplimit (formerly CoRise) is an AI driven learning platform where anyone can learn the most in-demand skills and actually put them to work. The company is founded by education and AI veterans Julia Stiglitz, Sourabh Bajaj, and Jake Samuelson, and is funded by Greylock Ventures (Sarah Guo), Cowboy Ventures, GSV Ventures along with the Co-Founders of OpenAI and DeepMind.

We're currently building the founding team. You will have a massive impact shaping the experience of the product from the ground up. Help us define the next generation of online education.

Responsibilities 👩🏽‍💻👨‍💻

• Design foundational aspects of the education platform and its interface with learners
• Work on cutting edge AI with LLMs on projects like an AI tutor, AI augmented course creation etc.
• Own features end-to-end, and become an expert on domains across the product (e.g. payments, emails, the student portal, live session experience, chat and community, analytics, developer tools)
• Land after launching — ensure our learnings from past projects are brought along to future ones
• Work next to product managers, designers, customer success managers and sales team members to build great experiences to delight our students and instructors

Background ****🔰

• You've 1+ years of software engineering work experience
• Proficiency in full stack development.
• Experience of Software development in one or more of the general purpose programming languages: Javascript, Typescript, Go, Python, Java, etc
• Experience in AI / ML products is helpful.
• Expertise in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally with customers, technical teams, and management
