About Vic.ai

Vic.ai is pioneering the use of autonomy and intelligence to digitally transform accounting and finance processes to improve productivity, decision-making, and ROI.

Job Description

REMOTE FIRST CULTURE  We are a remote-first company: our people occupy all 4 US time zones and 2 EU time zones.

Vic.ai has been pioneering the use of AI to digitally transform accounting and finance processes to improve productivity, decision-making, and ROI for more than five years. Vic.ai addresses the most manual and inefficient task in accounting – invoice processing – to improve its speed and scalability, ultimately enabling customers to reinvent their accounts payable operations and improve financial management. By processing over half a billion invoices with up to 99% accuracy, Vic.ai has helped 10,000+ customers achieve nearly $188 million in cost savings and 6 million hours in time savings. Vic.ai is jointly headquartered in New York City, Miami,  and Oslo, Norway.

We're a Series C-funded company and are fortunate to have some renowned investors and partners: Costanoa Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, GGV Capital, and ICONIQ Capital.

About the Role:

  • The primary additional responsibility of a Sales Engineer is to be a subject matter expert in at least one aspect of the Vic.ai platform and can be consulted by other Sales Engineers and employees on this expertise. If you have a passion for winning and a proven track record of success in sales engineering, you should send us your resume! As a startup company, we're looking for flexible, open-minded people who can drive the business forward.

  • Assume ownership of technical requirements for customers and capture them in diagrams and other deliverables. Respond to RFI’s, RFP’s, and security questionnaires

  • Own our Evaluation and Proof of Concept process. Partner with your sales counterpart and become the trusted partner for our clients. Shepherd our prospects through a successful evaluation and secure the technical win.

  • Provide technical pre-sales support for your assigned sales team throughout the sales cycle.

  • Assist sales in development and implementation of sales objectives and account-based penetration strategies

  • Engage in competitive research to help customers understand the value of Vic over other solutions they may be considering.

  • Educate sales executives and partners on the Vic.ai platform.

  • Engage with our product teams by sharing data-driven insights that will enable us to address customer needs in our platform.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in sales engineering. Preference for experience in FiServ, AI, accounting services, Accounts Payable, procurement, payments, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or RPA Robotic Process Automation but not mandatory.
