Job Description

About us

We are a small but mighty team working on a mission to upskill the world's workforce.

Uplimit is an AI driven learning platform where anyone can learn the most in-demand skills and actually put them to work. Where leading organizations build technical skills at scale. It’s where industry-leading instructors show how they tackle real problems, with real methods. And where the perfect combination of teaching best practices, top practitioners, technology, and collective peer learning makes real growth accessible to us all.

We come from Coursera, Google, Wayfair, Teach For America, Neeva, Quora, and are backed by Greylock, GSV, and Cowboy Ventures. If you are motivated by the opportunity to build from scratch, love a good challenge, and want to be part of a team that is passionate about reinventing education (and having a lot of fun while we do it!) — we’d love to talk.

About the role

This role sits at the center of what we do: helping instructors build best-in-class courses. It’s the perfect role for someone who loves to wear many (and we mean many!) hats, and enjoys working at the nexus of Build, Enterprise, and Operations. Major responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a thought partner to our incredibly talented instructors as they design cutting-edge learning experiences.

  • Tracking course performance data to build an iterative improvement cycle so courses get better with each cohort that runs.

  • Serving as the voice of instructors internally — aggregating and sharing product feedback with our partners on the Build team.

  • Working closely with our Enterprise team on pre-close demos/materials and post-close enablement.

  • Managing multiple course development processes in parallel, keeping them on track and motivating/supporting instructors when they encounter roadblocks.

  • Scaling manual flows, and turning them into flows that can operate at greater scale.

  • Contributing to conversations at the leadership level around content and course running strategy.

You will thrive in this role if

  • You are an energy multiplier. You are positive and enthusiastic. You know how to motivate people and inspire them to take action.

  • You are a problem solver. When you run up against an obstacle, your default is to brainstorm solutions. Nothing is someone else’s problem. You are a team player who loves to pitch in, roll up your sleeves, generate ideas, and produce results.

  • You are organized and detail-oriented. You love to manage several things at once, track details, and meet deadlines.

  • You are a systems thinker. When given a complex problem, you break it into smaller pieces. You take processes that are messy and inefficient and improve them.

  • You are a great communicator. You communicate effectively across a variety of stakeholders. Your written and verbal communication is clear and concise.

  • You have a growth mindset. You believe every project is an opportunity to learn and get better. Our core value of “our only failure is not learning” resonates with you on a personal level.

  • You believe in our mission and are motivated to create the best learning experience in the world.

This role reports to our Head of Operations.
