About You:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the Contra team! With the growth we are seeing on all of our social channels we need additional support to maintain our social engagement, content creation and growth

We are looking for someone that is passionate about working independently and the future of project based work and eager to come in and share a fresh perspective!


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and implement the content planner, including posting and re-sharing of content.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, focusing on content, publishing, and engagement.
  • Set specific goals and KPIs aligned with marketing objectives such as brand awareness, loyalty, engagement, and site traffic.
  • Curate and promote user-generated content while building strong online community relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with brand guidelines and overall marketing strategy.
  • Analyze social media performance and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Manage comments, DMs, and customer interactions professionally across all platforms.
  • Manage and respond to comments and DMs across all platforms.
  • Engage with relevant content by liking, commenting, and responding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members of the online community.
  • Oversee content planning and creation, including written and video content.
  • Create written + video content as needed based on the content planner
  • Report user feedback and noteworthy mentions to the team via Slack.

Requirements:
  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
  • A creative mindset, with the ability to quickly identify trending topics and know when to engage.
  • A detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple, high-profile projects and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Ideally located near Toronto, Canada.

Total Comp:
  • $80,000-95,000 CAD
**This is a remote 3 month contract to hire position. Once hired full-time you will receive:
  • Health + dental benefits
  • We provide you with a laptop on your start date

  • Paid Case Study + Presentation (45 minutes)
  • Interview with CEO & Co-Founder (30 minutes)
